Congratulation to Siti Salamah who has successfully published her research in Journal Silicon (2021)
Congratulation to Siti Salamah for her publication achievement. Her research entitled “Hydrocracking of Waste Cooking Oil into Biofuel Using Mesoporous Silica from Parangtritis Beach Sand Synthesized with Sonochemistry” was successfully published in Journal Silicon at May, 7, 2021. (SJR: 0.424, Impwct Fator: 1.499)
Her research results showed that the best performance of the MS1 was produced by using the DDA concentration of 0.1 M. It had optimum acidity at 1.7 mmol/g specific surface area of 233 m2/g, with the total pore volume of 0.4 cc/g, and average pore diameter of 7.70 nm. The best MS1 catalyst produced liquid fraction with a yield of 31.13 wt.% which consisted of 11.10% diesel oil and 5.04% gasoline.

Selamat kepada Ibu Siti Salamah atas pencapaian publikasinya. Hasil riset beliau berhasil dipublikasikan di High Impact Reputable Journal. Riset yang berjudul “Hydrocracking of Waste Cooking Oil into Biofuel Using Mesoporous Silica from Parangtritis Beach Sand Synthesized with Sonochemistry” ini dipublikasikan di Jurnal Silicon pada 7 Mei 2021 (SJR: 0.424, Impwct Fator: 1.499)
Hasil riset beliau meninjukkan bahwa kinerja terbaik mesoporous silica (MS1)dihasilkan dengan menggunakan konsentrasi DDA 0,1 M. hal tersebut memiliki keasaman optimum pada luas permukaan spesifik 1,7 mmol / g sebesar 233 m2 / g, dengan total volume pori 0,4 cc / g, dan diameter pori rata-rata 7,70 nm. Katalis MS1 terbaik menghasilkan fraksi cair dengan rendemen 31,13 wt.% Yang terdiri dari 11,10% solar dan 5,04% bensin.
