Pada hari Selasa, 7 November 2023, Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) bersama Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) menggelar sebuah kunjungan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas jurnal yang terindeks di Scopus. Acara ini dibuka oleh MC dan dimulai dengan pengenalan prtal MAJU oleh pak Much. Fuad Saifuddin S.pd, M.Pd. selaku TIM MAJU UAD.
Dalam acara ini, Direktorat Kajian Strategis dan Reputasi Akademik IPB memperkenalkan empat jurnal yang telah berhasil terindeks di Scopus. IPB menjelaskan bahwa tujuan kunjungan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas jurnal yang terindeks Scopus. Kegiatan ini diselingi dengan diskusi santai. Pengelola Jurnal Novelty juga membagikan pengalaman mereka dalam menjadi jurnal terindeks Scopus. Mereka menjelaskan pentingnya pemilihan artikel dengan scope yang spesifik sebagai langkah awal untuk maju ke tahap indeksasi Scopus.
Pada akhir acara, Prof. Dr. Anuraga Jayanegara, S.Pt., M.Sc selaku kepala bidang Direktorat Kajian Strategis dan Reputasi Akademik IPB dan tim yang lain menyampaikan beberapa pertanyaan tentang terkait pengelolaan jurnal kepada tim MAJU UAD. Acara ini dihadiri oleh 16 orang dari tim Maju (Universitas Ahmad Dahlan) dan Pengelola Jurnal IPB.
Acara ini merupakan langkah nyata dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas jurnal yang terindeks Scopus dan mendorong kolaborasi antara institusi akademik untuk mencapai tujuan bersama.
Visit from the Direktorat Kajian Strategis dan Reputasi Akademik (DKSRA) Institut Pertanian Bogor
On tuesday, November 7, 2023, the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) and Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) held a visit with the aim of improving the quality of journals indexed in Scopus. The event was opened by the MC and began with an introduction of the MAJU portal by Mr. Much Fuad Saifuddin, S.Pd, M.Pd, who is a member of the MAJU UAD team.
During the event, the Directorate of Strategic Studies and Academic Reputation of IPB introduced four journals that have successfully been indexed in Scopus. IPB explained that the purpose of this visit is to enhance the quality of Scopus-indexed journals. The activities were interspersed with informal discussions. The Novelty Journal administrators also shared their experiences in achieving Scopus indexing for their journal. They explained the importance of selecting articles with specific scopes as the initial step towards Scopus indexing.
At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Anuraga Jayanegara, S.Pt., M.Sc, Head of the Directorate of Strategic Studies and Academic Reputation at IPB, and the other team members posed several questions related to journal management to the MAJU UAD team. The event was attended by 16 people from the MAJU team (Ahmad Dahlan University) and IPB Journal Administrators.
This event represents a tangible step in the effort to enhance the quality of Scopus-indexed journals and promote collaboration between academic institutions to achieve common goals.”
