The journey to becoming a Professor is not a short and easy journey, but long and full of struggle. Bidang Publikasi Ilmiah Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (BPI LPPM UAD) congratulate and succeed Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. who is the Head of Scientific Publication Division, for his success in obtaining the title of professor in the field of Mathematics Education Science. Through the decision of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology number 0629/E4/KP/GB/2022 regarding the promotion of Academic/Functional Lecturer Positions, Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. become a Professor in the field of Mathematics Education Science from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan as of September 1, 2022. The decree was issued in Jakarta on September 13, 2022, by Nadiem Anwar Makarim as Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
During the handover of the Decree of the Professor of Mathematics Education Science at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Main Campus to Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. said “I am the 9th professor produced by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Like the philosophy of the number 9, the number 9 is interesting because when the number nine is multiplied by the unit number, the result when added up will be the same, which is 9. It means that a lot of good people around me, in this case is considered as a sum, whatever happens, I will always be myself like the result will still be the same 9 if added up”. While the Head of LLDIKTI Region V Prof. dr. Aris Junaidi, Ph, D. in his speech congratulated and said that Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana is “The youngest professor at LLDIKTI Region V and it is hoped that work and productivity at the age of 35 will continue to be maximized so that there is still a long time to advance Ahmad Dahlan University”. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. can encourage other young lecturers to obtain the title of professor to increase the number of professors at UAD.

Perjalanan dalam menjadi Guru Besar bukanlah perjalanan yang sebentar dan mudah, melainkan panjang dan penuh perjuangan. Bidang Publikasi Ilmiah Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Ahmad Dahlan mengucapkan selamat dan sukses kepada Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. yang merupakan Kepala Bidang Publikasi Ilmiah, atas keberhasilan meraih gelar profesor bidang ilmu Pendidikan Matematika. Melalui keputusan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi nomor 0629/E4/KP/GB/2022 tentang kenaikan Jabatan Akademik/Fungsional Dosen, ditetapkan Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. menjadi Profesor/Guru Besar dalam bidang ilmu Pendidikan Matematika dari Universitas Ahmad Dahlan terhitung mulai tanggal 1 September 2022. Surat Keputusan tersebut ditetapkan di Jakarta pada tanggal 13 September 2022 oleh Nadiem Anwar Makarim selaku Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia.
Saat serah terima Surat Keputusan Guru Besar Bidang Ilmu Pendidikan Matematika di Kampus Utama Universitas Ahmad Dahlan kepada Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. menyampaikan “Saya professor ke-9 yang dihasilkan oleh Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Seperti folosofi angka 9, angka 9 itu menarik karena ketika angka sembilan di kalikan dengan angka satuan maka hasilnya jika di jumlahkan akan sama yaitu 9. Maksudnya banyak orang baik disekitar saya dalam hal ini dianggap suatu penjumlahan, apaun yang terjadi saya tetap jadi diri sendiri seperti hasilnya akan tetap sama 9 jika dijumlahkan”. Sedangkan Kepala LLDIKTI Wilayah V Prof. drh. Aris Junaidi, Ph,D. dalam sambutannya mengucapkan selamat dan menyampaikan bahwa Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana merupakan “Guru Besar termuda di LLDIKTI Wilayah V dan harapannya karya dan produktifitas pada usia ke 35 tahun terus dimaksimalkan karena waktunya yang masih panjang sehingga dapat memajukan Universitas Ahmad Dahlan” Semoga prestasi yang di raih Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, M.Pd. dapat mendorong dosen muda lainnya untuk meraih gelar profesor sehingga menambah jumlah guru besar di UAD.
