UNIVERSITAS AHMAD DAHLAN RAIH POSISI PTS TERBAIK DI INDONESIA VERSI SCIMAGO INSTITUTIONS RANKINGS (SIR) 2023 DALAM KATEGORI PENELITIAN

Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) berhasil meraih posisi pertama se-Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah dan ‘Aisyiyah (PTMA), kedua se-Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS), dan ke-37 se-Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia pada hasil pemeringkatan SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) pada tahun 2023. Hasil pemeringkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa UAD memiliki rekam jejak penelitian dan publikasi terbaik di Indonesia.

Dalam proses pemeringkatan tersebut, terdapat 3 indikator utama yaitu research (50%), innovation (30%), dan societal impact (20%). UAD berhasil memperoleh posisi pertama se-PTS dan se-PTMA, serta posisi ke-34 se-Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia pada kategori research atau penelitian.

Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, S.Si., M.Pd. selaku Kepala Bidang Publikasi Ilmiah di Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Ahmad Dahlan menyampaikan bahwa sejumlah dosen UAD dalam setahun terakhir mengalami peningkatan dalam hal mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian mereka di High-Impact Journal, yang mana sebagian besar masuk kategori Q1 di SCImago Journal Rank.

Tambahnya “Langkah selanjutnya, kami (Bidang Publikasi Ilmiah) akan berfokus pada penguatan kompetensi literasi publikasi para dosen agar mampu mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya di jurnal-jurnal yang memiliki reputasi tinggi, melalui kerja sama atau kolaborasi dengan sejumlah peneliti luar negeri. Hal ini didukung oleh LPPM, melalui BRIn dalam bentuk skim penelitian kerja sama luar negeri.”

Harapannya di masa yang akan datang, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan mampu memberikan pengaruh dan kontribusi yang berdampak, sehingga mampu meningkatkan peringkat UAD di level perguruan tinggi dengan target masuk 10 besar.

Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) has successfully achieved the first position in Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah dan ‘Aisyiyah (PTMA), the second in Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS), and the 37th position in universities in Indonesia in the results of the SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) in 2023. The results of this ranking show that UAD has the best track record of research and publication in Indonesia.

In the ranking process, there are three main indicators: research (50%), innovation (30%), and societal impact (20%). UAD successfully achieved the first positions of PTS and PTMA, as well as the 34th position of a university in Indonesia in the research category.

Prof. Dr. Rully Charitas Indra Prahmana, S.Si., M.Pd., Head of Scientific Publications at Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (LPPM UAD), said that UAD lecturers in the last year experienced an improvement in terms of publishing their research results in the High-Impact Journal, most of which entered the Q1 category in the SCImago Journal Rank.

He added that “our next step in the Scientific Publication Division is to focus on strengthening the publication literacy competence of lecturers so that they can publish their research results in high-reputation journals through cooperation or collaboration with foreign researchers. This is supported by LPPM, through BRIn in the form of foreign research cooperation schemes.”

His hopes for the future are that Universitas Ahmad Dahlan is able to provide influence and impactful contributions so that it can increase UAD rankings at the university level with the goal of entering the top 10.
