Yogyakarta, 30 November 2023 – Hari ini, Bidang Publikasi Ilmiah Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (BPI UAD) menyelenggarakan Workshop Homepage and Policy Jurnal dan Indeksasi DOAJ di Kampus 2 unit A. Acara ini menyoroti pentingnya pemahaman terhadap masa depan author dan editor jurnal, serta langkah-langkah indeksasi oleh Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
Much. Fuad Saifuddin S.Pd., M.Pd, yang juga merupakan anggota tim MAJU sekaligus menjadi narasumber utama dalam workshop ini. Dalam pemaparannya, beliau memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai arah perkembangan masa depan bagi para penulis dan editor jurnal. Peserta yang mayoritas merupakan pengelola jurnal di UAD, didorong untuk aktif mencari referensi dari jurnal internasional yang sudah terindeks Scopus. Tujuannya adalah agar mereka dapat memahami model pengelolaan yang efektif dalam jurnal internasional tersebut.
Selama workshop, Much. Fuad Saifuddin S.Pd., M.Pd, memberikan tutorial praktis kepada pengelola jurnal. Fokusnya adalah memberikan panduan langkah demi langkah untuk berhasil masuk atau terindeksas DOAJ. Tujuanya untuk meningkatkan visibilitas jurnal secara global. Tutorial ini bertujuan memberdayakan pengelola jurnal UAD untuk memahami dan menerapkan standar DOAJ dengan baik.
Sebagai penutup acara, peserta diharapkan dapat memahami kriteria DOAJ yang perlu diterapkan dalam Open Journal Systems (OJS) Jurnal. Hal ini diharapkan akan meningkatkan kualitas dan daya saing jurnal yang dielola oleh UAD.
Workshop Homepage and Policy Jurnal serta Indeksasi DOAJ ini mencerminkan komitmen UAD dalam meningkatkan komunikasi ilmiah yang berkualitas dan mendukung pengembangan jurnal akademis yang terakreditasi secara internasional.
Workshop on Journal Policies and Homepage and DOAJ Indexation
Yogyakarta, 30 November 2023 – Today, Bidang Publikasi Ilmiah Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (BPI UAD) organized a Workshop on Journal Policies and Homepage and DOAJ Indexation at Campus 2 unit A. The event highlighted the importance of understanding the future of journal authors and editors, as well as indexation steps by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
Much. Fuad Saifuddin S.Pd., M.Pd, who is also a member of the MAJU team as well as the main speaker in this workshop. In his presentation, he provided deep insight into the direction of journal development in the future for journal authors and editors. Participants, the majority of whom are journal managers at UAD, were encouraged to actively seek references from international journals that have been indexed by Scopus. The goal is that they can understand effective management models in these international journals.
During the workshop, Much. Fuad Saifuddin S.Pd., M.Pd, provided practical tutorials to journal managers. The focus was on providing step-by-step guidance to successfully enter or be indexed by DOAJ. The goal is to increase the visibility of the journal globally. This tutorial aims to empower UAD journal managers to understand and implement DOAJ standards properly.
In closing the event, participants are expected to understand the DOAJ criteria that need to be applied in Open Journal Systems (OJS) Journals. This is expected to improve the quality and competitiveness of journals managed by UAD.
